We removed the carpet in the three bedrooms and have found the floor to have a variety of problems including water spots, white paint overspray, and of course many areas where the finish is rubbed down to just the wood.

Is it a possibility to clean and strip the floors in preparation for staining and finishing with a LIQUID stripper instead of having to sand them down? Something we can just wash the floors with and it remove what we want to remove?

We don't want to lose the wood and deal with the dust. Also, there are strippers that won't raise the grain of the wood.

We don't expect the floors to come out perfectly because of all the problems - but other than that the wood is solid and we want to keep it. Character is in.

You can easily doyour project with the PEEL AWAY 5. Safe to use and it will keep the natural color of the wood.
