We just recently bought an older home and ripped out the flooring to find hardwood floors.
We had to tear out linolium, and tile underneath it. Now there is a 1/2 inch thick coat of black stripping from the tile, which underneath is the wood.
Is there some kind of solution that will disolve this substance and not hurt the wood flooring?
