I currently have a small concrete patio deck ( which has seen better days ) I would like not only to cover it but to enlarge it. I have a plan that I'm not sure will work but would like to hear from anyone who might have suggestions or see where my plan is flawed, I would like to lay 4x4's lengthwise across the existing concrete attaching them somehow ( another help question ) and then lay decking material across the 4x4's. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.
