I am planning on covering my deck using Pressure Treated plywood and outdoor carpet. I can only get standard PT plywood here in Calgary, no tongue and groove stuff.

Anyone have suggestions on how I can avoid having to make my own tongue and groove on each sheet? I want to make sure I don't end up with sheet ends not matching. Any sort of interface that looks like a sideways "H"?

Your lumber dealer should have plywood clips. These are normally used for spacing cdx roofing plywood, however they may serve your purpose as well.

They are "H" shaped and designed to both properly space and align plywood.

Just know that these are no sold by the each. Only by the box. I assume that you will also be using 3/4" plywood. some remember to get the correct size plywood clips.

I would not have gone with this method myself. Probably glue and ringshank nails for me............
