In the Hallway, walls are 8feet high. Paint upper half one color & bottom half different color. I want to put a wallpaper border in the middle. What is the acceptable height from floor to put border--is it definitely at 4feet, or is it less or what. Please advise ASAP

Usually the bottom edge is 3ft from the floor.
