Hi again. Looking for any information from anyone who has ever purchased pre-fab closet organizer systems. Would like to gather info. as to price, functionality, durability, etc. Apparently, the previous owners decided to rip out the shelf that ran along the top end of both walk-in closets and I have a tremendous lack of storage due to it as well as an overabundance of unused space. Alternatively, if anyone has any ideas/suggestions on how to do something similar on one's own, I'd appreciate those comments/direction as well.

Thank you.

We recently installed a closet organizer in my son's room. We bought it at home depot and installed it ourselves. I believe it was made by Mills Pride. We wanted the melamine kind with drawers in hope that he may put his clothes in them (instead of me).

Putting it together took longer than installing it. It really wasn't very hard, especially for someone not mechanically inclined, like me. The one thing it didn't mention in the instructions was buying wall brackets to fasten the system to the wall. I highly suggest doing so.

All in all, it looks great, very functionable, and inexpensive. We like it much better than using the wire shelving closet organizers.

I really appreciate you taking the time!!! And, even more about the brackets (I can certainly see where THAT would be important!) lol.

I'm going to look more into this.....thanks again :-)

p.s. Hope your son's been using those drawers!
