hi all im new to this site. my question is, If I build a cement block shower using 4" blockss does anyone have any ideas on how to make it so I can put standard shower fixtures in with the pipes running up the out side instead of inside? The stems on a shower fixture are not long enough to reach through. Iam aware of the extentions but they are only one inch. still not enough. My only thought is to lay a 2"x8"x16" solid in the apropriate spot and drilling through it for the fixture anyone have any other ideas??
