Carrier gas pack (natural gas/ac/blower all outside) 5 ton model 48NHT036300....

OK, problem just started this afternoon when I turned the air off. After a while I noticed that the blower was still on. The blower keeps running when thermostat is off and on auto mode. So I disconnected all wires from thermostat and the problem remains. Then I disconnected thermostat wires from the cir. board on the unit and still the blower runs. Assuming that the relay is stuck or something, is there a method to "un-stick" it? Or is it best to just install a new one?

It appears to be mounted on a small board that is connected to the main cir. board, so will I have to get that board in order to get a new relay?

You could install a relay external to the board.You would have to rewire the unit.However.Since the board is showing a circuit problem at this time,it is only a matter of time that you loose another board function.Board replacement is inevitable.PDF
