Want to put bath in basement and have talked to builder about possibilities. He suggested putting in pump under cement before basement is poured becuase water needs to be pumped to septic tank. Due to lack of communication between sales and contractor, it didn't get put in before cement was poured. I still want bath and it's paid for. I'm wondering if there is another way to do this beside chopping up basement floor. Not really sure how this process works. Any info. or suggestions ?

Thanx, Bill

If it is just a half bath that you want in the basement, they do make toilets that waste through the back into a pump chamber. My Dad had one installed and the sink drains into it as well. Just a thought, besides "jacking the crete"

Thanx MoneyPit !

Haven't heard of that before. Is it something you can purchase at a local store or is it a special company ?

I saw an add for this type toilet in the most current Handy-Man Magazine, grab a copy and check it out. It could be expensive, this I don't know since my parents live in Ga. and these $ matters do not concern them. Wish I had that type of fortune. They also had someone do all the work. I guess that is why they diet and I eat for 2 and still loose weight, boy how jealous my wife is [lol]

Good luck,

Doug
