I am refinishing a table. I used a standard paint and varnish remover. It took off most of the paint but I'm not sure what is wrong. The legs have a lot of curves and stuff and there is a dark burgundy stain all over the legs. Now I used the paint remover a few days ago and tried sanding it afterward. Is it too late to use a liguid stipper and brass brush or do you have any other suggestions. Thanks Vivian

Vivian:
Sorry to take so long getting back to you.
I've read your description of what you've done, and what you've got, but you didn't make clear what the problem is.
If you want to get rid of the burgundy stain, a 2 part bleach will help some, but you'll probably have to sand in addition to that.
It's not too late to use a liquid stripper and brass brush, but it will do very little to get rid of the stain. It will certainly help (especially the brush) in getting rid of the rest of the paint.
