I am currently building a home in michigan. It is a cape cod style home and i am finishing 3 beds and a bath myself.
I have never done ductwork before and have no clue on where to start. Would it cost alot more to let the professionals do it or is it doable with some research. Kinda pressed for time. Also, do i need a cold air return in every room ?
Any input is appreciated,
Bill

It is best to have return air in all rooms, but you can get away with a central return for the whole area.
Have a pro do it, Cape's are not the easiest to do. Especially if you going to have or add on a/c. They have the tools and materials. And if your pressed for time.....
