I am designing by own deck which will be 9'-2" above the ground. I have several 45 degree angles along the perimeter. How can I can utilize (1) 6 x 6 post where (2) support beams meet on an angle? I am trying to eliminate the need for a support post on each side of where the support beams meet at these angles. I am presently at work. Could you please e-mail me at fwhetstine@bellelectrical.com.
Thank you

Where these 2 beams intersect, at a 45 degree angle, cut each at 22-1/2 degrees to form the corner, and have a post centered under the joint so both beams are supported equally.
