I have a Lennox Gas Furnace. When I came home from work I noticed that it was rather chilly in my house so I checked the t'stat and it read 55 degrees, it is set at 70. All that was coming out of the vents is cold air. I took the panel of the furnace to see if the pilot was lit and I didn't see a pilot light. I followed the instructions on how to relight, but that didn't work. I called a furnace man in town and he said that the jets could possibly be clogged...If that is the case, am I able to repair it and how? Thanks in advance.

Don't know what the jets are, but research this site for pilot lite assembly cleaning.

Your jets or orifices are not plugged. If you placed gas valve to pilot and tried to relight according to instructions and held valve to pilot for 2 minutes, your tcouple sounds bad.You did say you have a standing pilot?PDF
