I have a general electric central heating and cooling system. I don't know the model# or how old it is, all that I know is that it is an up flow system. I turned on the heat from the thermosat, and the furnace lit and everything, except the blower never kicked on. I tried turning off the breaker and maybe resetting it but no go. If you have any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the blower motor went bad. Call a tech if you do not know how to use a multi-meter to check it out.

Try this.Remove panel.Grab blower fan blades.Try to spin them.If they do not spin or turn hard then the motor bearings are bad.It is time to replace motor.PDF
