I have a previously stripped dropleaf table. Have used boiled linseed oil on it in the past, but this time left it on too long and the result is a gummy residue. How can I remove this residue?
Thank you.

VM&P (Varnish and Paint Makers) Naphtha will remove the uncured linseed oil - but it may remove part of the cured under it as well. That's the best option I can offer.
