Both the bath tub drain and overflow leak from the underside of the tub. I tried to fix this about 6 months ago and they are leaking again. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make a better seal in these areas? I tried tightening the drain cap and the overflow cover but it does not help. I have easy access to the underside of the tub but don't want to make fixing these leaks a regular habit.
Thanks

Is it leaking at a threaded connection?
If so, smear a little clear silicone caulk on the threads.
If it's leaking from under the drain flange, replace the plumber's putty under the lip of the drain.
Good Luck!
