anyone have an idea on how to mount a sink to a vanity. do most glue it down? there is no mounting instructions and hardware

Just screw the vanity base to wall studs to keep it from moving.
You can spot caulk under the edge of the sink top to the base if you want, but in most cases, the plumbing lines should hold it in place.

thanks mike thats what i did drain seems to hold most and the caulk holds the rest.
