Alloc makes a very good product. They offer two types of glueless assembly. One uses an aluminum assembly system and the same basic system is available without the metal edge. The product uses a loose assembly joint that the company claims will accomadate expansion and contraction. The same joinery is used in the Armstron Swiftloc. If open joints are going to be a problem for you there are other very similar types of joinery that provide tight joints. If you go forward with the aluminum edge, keep your saw blade very sharp as a "pull" that causes a bent edge most likely will mean replacing the entire plank.
