Hi I have a wooden guitar, I am way too cheap to take it to a guitar guy cause they are expensive, and the face of it has wood glue on it, dried years ago, and is chipping and has a crack, not bad. I think if I stripped the finish off the face of it and then put some finish back on, I have no idea what to use (I dont repair stuff too often), then it would seal up the crack, clean the face, and stop it from chipping. If you have any reccomendation as to if I should do this and what I should put on it after I strip it they would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
