I saw a show where the owners of a house put some type of covering over the cement patio that looked like bricks - but it was not. It came in sheets and installed very easily. It looked like it could have been made of recycled tires or some other semi-soft durable product. They installed this product because they had children and the covering would not hurt them if they fell as would regular bricks or cement. I am trying to figure out what this stuff is and where it can be purchased. Any help would be great.

I have seen this stuff before, it was in an old house used as a wall covering. It looked like real brick but it wasn't very soft (although softer than brick). I have no idea where to find it, but you might look for it as a siding / wall covering instead of floor covering. Best of luck!
