Hello,my question is this. While removing my wallpaper with a razor scraper, the blade at certain spots cut into the drywall paper below. I know in other posts where the drywall itself was showing they said to prime first and then patch. My question is where i didn`t cut all the way through thedrywall paper can I cover that with drywall compound and then prime over the entire wall. I plan on painting the wall after so I want to make sure the patches stay in place and not lift. Thanks for any help you guys have saved me in the past.

manzini, You can patch before the primer but do wash all of the paste off so it won't break down while working on it...Mike
