Painting - Vapor Barrier Paint for Bathroom

We will be stripping the wallpaper off of our bathroom walls and painting. We recently blew cellulose insulation into the exterior walls of our 70yr old house and want to use a paint that will help act as a bit of a vapor barrier to prevent moisture from the humid bathroom from migrating through the wall and dampening the new insulation.

Using a vapor barrier paint was suggested elsewhere but I don't know where to find such a paint or what to look for. Any ideas?

ALSO> If the wallpaper paste leaves a residue - what is the best method for removal?

As far as the vapor barrior goes for the drywall I would suggest using an oil based primer such as kilz, then 2 coats of quality latex bathroom paint such as Sherwin Williams interior semigloss Superpaint. You will also need to check all the caulking around the tub, window trim, windows, etc. Here is an article on moisture damage in homes http://www.paint.org/con_info/moisture.htm

For the wallpaper paste, try warm water and a sponge, dampen the pasted area's and let sit for a few minutes and try wiping off, if that doesn't work try some DIF wallpaper remover from your local paint/wallpaper stores.
