Hi! - I've painted a bathroom with sand texture paint, which successfully covered up a bad texture job. It's dryed for 48 hours. I am splatter painting with acrylics and tried to wipe off a blob, and it's acting more like drywall (not cleaning up well). Do you think after I'm done splattering I could coat the walls with a waterbased clear varnish for protection and cleanup? Any thoughts are appreciated. Tks! clh

Hi clh,
Yes, you can top coat your work of art with acrylic polyurethane. You've even got your choice of sheen levels.
Go for it!
