Hi...I'm going to buy my first Jointer soon...was wondering what to look for. Also, is Delta 37-195 6" a good/decent brand?

Which one do you suggest to me? I want a good one...

General international,Delta, king international or other one...

Thanks

Joel,
I have the Delta 6" deluxe jointer with dust chute - quite a bit less expensive than the old DJ-15. The 37-195 must have replaced the DJ-15, but with a shorter bed. The bed lengths appears to be the same size on the deluxe and the 37-195. Only difference I can see is my 37-190 has 3/4 hp as opposed to 1 hp. Really not much difference for the extra $100 or so. My bed is long enough, I've jointed 6 to 8 ft boards without problems. Delta makes a fine woodworking tool. Either one would be a good first jointer.
