I accidentally drilled a 3/8" hole through Pine toungue and groove paneling. The hole was drilled from behind the paneling opposite the wall in another room. I need to patch the hole and there is some splintering and may have to make the hole larger before repairing it. My thoughts were if there is such a thing as a "Knot Hole" repair kit available, I may be able to tap one in place and putty, sand then refinish the area.

Any suggestions or tips are appreciated.

Thanks,
