To all,
I am looking to buy a quality table saw in the 7 to 8 hundred dollar range. Any information I can get my hands on that might help me select the best for that price range would be appreciated.
I've looked at several so far. DeWalt 746, various Jet and Powermatic models, as well as Delta saws. I want the best for the money and I am turning to you for your valued input.
Please help me make the right decision and steer me from making any possible mistakes that you might have already learned from. Thank You!

Personally I would buy either a DeWalt or Craftsman. both are excellent saws. You will not go wrong with either one.
They will last for years. Your choice on the brand.

I own a Delta 10" Contractor's Saw. I bought it because I could still get all the attachments I would need to make it a full-blown cabinet making saw.
I have built fine cabinets using it. It won't cost you more than $700.
It's my recommendation.
