I don't know why, but they put textured stuff all over the ceilings and walls in our house. Last summer we had a problem with a hole in the roof, causing a leak down into my bathroom window, which has made the texture stuff peel off the walls. Where it hasn't peeled off, it's stained really bad. I'm wondering how I can fix these holes (which are about 1/8" deep) since the plaster is still falling off in areas. And what is the best way to get the same texture back on the walls when repairing holes? It almost looks like it was put on with a paint roller. There have been tons of holes in the walls in this house and someone has just put flat patches of plaster back on. I basically just want the whole wall to look uniform, instead of having the VERY tell-tale patches in practically every room.

There are many products avail at Home Depot with textures already added to paint and repair textures. Since you didn't mention the "kind" of texture it is difficult to comment further
