I cant even begin to call myself an expert at this, but I also have hot water heat in my house and I love it. However, if you want to replace a radiator with a baseboard type hot water convector, you will need alot of baseboard space to get the same amount of heat that a radiator puts out, that is why a radiator [and I assume it has a convector around it?] was used in the bathroom, because of space limitations. I too wanted to change mine when I remodeled the bath, but I would have had to run a baseboard radiator about half way around the room to generate the heat the radiator gives. Hope that helps.
