I have a fireplace constructed of PINK masonry which I believe is called Perma Stone. The room is very dark and I want to make the masonry lighter as it covers about 4/5 of the wall from floor to ceiling. I had already purchased primer when I readabout the H & C sold by Sherwin Williams.
Would it be possible to stain a dusky pink perma stone to a cream color with the H & C? In other could one go from darker to lighter as well as the reverse?
