Does old glue on the walls have to be removed, before new wallpaper can be put up.

Michelle Cottrill, No it doesn't. Quick enough? The only thing you would want to guard against is a paste that has a lot of texture might show through a very light paper. If this is the case sponge it until smooth...Mike
