We installed luan underlayment on our floor and now the directions on the bucket of mastic we bought says that it is an unacceptable surface, it is called Acrylpro, Is there a certain brand we should use?

What they mean is that luan is not a good surface for ceramic tile no matter whay type of adhesive you use. You are installing ceramic tile?
