I'm looking for short classes and demos in the south east US. We like to travel by RV and see new places, and I'd love to learn some more about wood working. I'm in southern South Carolina and there aren't many options here. I have found the WoodCrafter's in Charleston, but would be interested in others in the south east. Any suggestions?

Various tool makers are always holding demo's of their products, particularly as warmer weather approches and they can demo in a parking lot somewhere. Go to a local building supply and browse their tool section. Pick up literature that has company names and addresses - write them, expressing an interest in seeing their product in action. You'll have a lot of places to travel to!

Thanks George, I'll try that. We just spent three lovely days camped at an SC state park where they were doing Revolutionary War reinactments and demonstrating hand made dove tailing, among many other crafts. It was a lot of fun. I'm ready to go again!
