I'm planning on pouring a small backyard fireplace to match an exposed aggregate retaining wall my Dad poured 25 years ago. He was in the trades and had no problem getting his hands on vertical surface retarder. I've been looking around and can't find small quantities (~gallon). Is this amount available and does anyone know where I can find it? TIA.

55 gallon drums are the most common. Anyway, I did a quick search for you. The least amount I could find was 3.78 Liters from Canada. (Not expensive at all).
