Number one: a permit. Then a concrete grade beam or angle iron bolted to the foundation to support the brick, then flashing at either. Next building paper on the walls, then laying courses with weep holes at the base and brick ties spaced as required, plus maintaining a 1" air space. A rowlock course at windows or doors, plus angle iron support and flashing over windows or doors, and brick mould at the soffit. Plus modifying window and door sills and or jambs as required.
