We just moved into a condo, and the wall with the windows on it in the living room is brick. We want to put 2 curtain rods up to hang our curtains. How do we do this? Is it OK to drill into brick? What kind of drill do you need? How long does it take? Do you drill into the mortar or the brick itself. HELP!!!!!!!

Purchase a carbide masonry bit at a hardware store. They are common items. A drill motor with 3/8" chuck is the minimum size drill motor. Speed is relative to the tools used, but it should not take too long. Drilling into the mortar is prefered, but you can drilling into the brick if needed.
