I am considering installing ceramic tile in my bathroom but have a question as to how you install this with the toilet.
If you install the tile under the toilet is there a way to know if I have enough plumbing to bolt the toilet back down with out it leaking ? or do you just trim the tile around the toilet ? I currently have a vinyl floor.
Sorry if this is trivial, and I appreciate any help.

Hi,
You definatley tile under the toliet i.e. remove it when you do the job. This much I'm sure of.
To put the toliet back I belive all you have to do is go to home depot and by a new wax ring. If I remember correctly they even sell and extra tall ring for this type of job. It cost a whole $1.25
