What is the best way to polish marble? We obtained 12x12 tiles of mable from a home store in our area and wanted to use them on the counter top of the kitchen. The front edge is not polished as the top of the stone. What would you suggest we use to polish these edges?

Hi Dianna,
You use sandpaper. Check the Post "Marble Hearth" submitted by "TedH" that explains it fairly well.

The friendly people at http://www.thebellacollection sell marble. Email them and they will help. I know they can do custom tops, but that is pretty pricey.
