Hi..I'm a lousy gardener and not very good with birds either. The one thing I managed to grow and love is Virginia Creeper on the wall of my house. Yes, I've heard that ANYONE can grow it, but I'm still pleased anyway :)
Gorgeous in the Summer and even better in the Fall.

However, last year a flock of starlings (I think?) took to sleeping in it, early evening to early morning. They make an awful racket outside my kitchen window and worse, they do their "bird business" all over the creeper. Looks terrible and of course, it's on all the leaves for the duration of the season. Come Fall, the leaves fall off and the bare wall is covered with, ahem, doo-doo. (I shall ask in another forum how to get it off the brick!).

So, before Spring rolls around again, does anyone know how to keep birds out of it (20'high x 22'long) without hanging aluminum plates, or plastic owls or something all over it? This is my "entry" wall and the only wall seen by anyone entering my home.

Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.
