Our home was built in 1907.. The homes exterior is concrete block.. It is a 2 story with a basement/attic, square home. We would like to stucco the outside of the home..Is this the best option for an undated look..OR would vinyl siding be better..

I think stucco would provide an authentic look, however, vinyl siding that simulates narrow lap siding is an option also.
Stucco will crack eventually. Cracking is exacerbated with settling and other movement. A finish color coat avoids the need for painting for quite a few years. If the color becomes wearisome I personally prefer the appearance of painted stucco over painted vinyl siding. With vinyl siding choose the appearance and a color that you'll love for the next century.
