Ok, like a dummy I spilled paint on my new carpet.
Is there a preferred method to removing the paint?
Thanks,
Shawn

Oil base...No, patching or replacement is the only opion. If you use a solvent it will damage the carpet and you will be in the same boat.
Latex water base is removeable with a steam cleaner. But don't let it sit there for longer then a day or 2, Don't rub but dab the carpet with a small amount of water and clean white towels, then go over with the steam cleaning wand. If you rub it will take the twist out of the yarn and look fuzzy.
