I visited a friend's friend's house while on vacation and she had put in concrete flooring (with radiant heat) and cut grout lines and stained it to look like very large tiles with kind of a leather look. It was fabulous! We will be building this spring and I would like to do this in our home. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding this? techniques? Preferred materials? etc.? Also any websites would be great. Thanks in advance...

i have a friend that had that done to their house...they hired a concrete cutting company...when the floor was poured before the walls go up...they come in and score the floor in a pattern of your choice...price wise...it wasn't too bad and it lasts forever...and looks great...good luck
