Have ten-year-old Trane LP furnace. Had ignitor replaced within last month. Have awakened to cold house several times. Furnace burners usually come on after turning thermostat back to minimum for few seconds and then back to 70's range.

What is problem? I suspect thermostat.

but first,next time it happens do not reset tstat.Instead look at board inside furnace panel.It might have an LED lit and may warn you as to why unit is tripping out.When you turn tstat off and on you are resetting the trip out condition.PDF
