my unglazed tile is now cracking at the grout line. Torrential rains have shifted the foundation. Long crack lines have appeared at the entry steps into my den and along one side of the room. What should I do?... Wait til the summer drought and hope that the lines come together or doctor them in some way? This is very irritating. The floor was laid at the end of the summer so it is only 6 months old. thank you

Well . . .
I assume your tiles were laid on a concrete slab?
And shifting foundations aren't going to be kind to any floor.
Could you please provide a little more information?

My cracked grout problem's history: the den where the cracked grout lies is actually a renovated porch. The prior owner had remodeled it and added an additional slab to the porch slab. The two probably slide around like earth plates at a fault line. If we had only realized the extent of the problem, we would have carpeted. I love the tile and the look the room now has....it is just those nasty cracks. The tile used was an unglazed red Colombian. thank you for your reply.
