I would like to make a ottoman that is attractive and that provides storage. The dimentions that I am interested in are 3X4 feet and about 18 inches high. I need to know what tools I need. I know how to use basic tools, but I am not familiar with construction concepts. I can screw a screw, hammer a nail, I know how to use a level. I am familiar with methods to upholster the top with cushions.

How do I make a sturdy box frame? Do I have to use wood glue, and clamps or can I get away with out them. What kind of supports do I need to include? Thanks for your time! Trina
