Can anyone give me suggestions for using carpet to cover my old vinyl bathroom floor?

Carpets in bathrooms are best loose laid!! Carpet is like a sponge, and will mold and mildew when moisture is introduced. Especially around tubs and showers. I loose lay carpet in my bathrooms during the cold winter months, and remove it as it warms up.
