I know this is probably a dumb question, but how do you do it? Mine are from a friend and they didn't come with instructions, otherwise I wouldn't be asking! They are standard miniblinds (horizontal, not vertical). thanks for answering my question!

There are basically 3 parts involved -- the left and right end mounting brackets, the blind itself, and one or more center brackets, if the blind is long enough to need them. Whether the blind fits inside the window opening or is attached to the wall above the window, attach the end mounting brackets to the header with #6 X 1" screws. space them far enough apart so there is about 1/8" of room in each bracket when the head of the blind is slipped in. If there are slots in the head that the center mounting brackets fit into, this is where you need to locate those brackets. If there are no such slots, space the brackets about evenly, but make sure they won't interfer with the mechanism inside the head. If you still have questions, post them. One of us will help you out.
