I'm putting on mineral surfaced roll roofing for the first time and need to know the lap and nailing pattern

Lap it 6" with a roofing compound in the lap, and nail it every 2". use 1-1/2" or 2" metal drip edge on all of the edges. Get good at it -- YOU'LL BE DOING IT A LOT!! Or, you can put on metal roofing and spend your time golfing.

Thanks Lefty. This roll roofing what I need right now. Cheap and fast. I do plan to put on metal the first time it needs replacing.
