how do i remove odor from walls that have paneling in them? and also had wood flooring (which will be soon covered in carpet)floors are no worth saving. everytime i walk in that room theres a mildew smell. thanks wanda

You need to find to source of the odor. I suspect you may have a mold problem behind the walls. If that is the case you need to fix it. Take a piece of paneling off and see.

If the odor is smoke or the like, you can paint the walls with Kilz and then paint with the color of your choice.

Remember, if you don't eliminate the cause, the problem will be back.
