HOW DO I REMOVE THE ROUGH ACOUSTIC TEXTURE COATING ON MY CEILINGS? I WANT TO TAKE THEM TO A FLAT SURFACE.

hello
let me stress im no expert these r just some thoughts on the matter
i think if your texture is not overly deep it might be easier to skim coat it with joint compound rather than scrape it off
this is just an idea i am unsure of its feasibility
