We live in south western Ontario, Canada. We have just purchased a two storey home which is three years old. There are two vertical cracks in the foundation (one on the east side and one on the west side). One has been professionaly repaired however the other has just occurred. Is it common for foundations to crack after three years of settling? Should we be concerned and what might this be an indication of?
